Currently, Second Nature Social Skills collaborates with the Asperger’s Association of New England (AANE) to assist with the socialization
opportunities we provide. These events are community based and are just for socialization opportunities. There is embedded direct instruction when necessary; however there is not direct and
explicit information based learning of these skills. These opportunities contain Saturday Night Socials, Manga Book Club, Cooking Club, etc.
For more information, please go directly to the AANE website at www.aane.org.
Second Nature Social Skills is honored to partner with the Massachusetts Advocates for Children (MAC) to
offer parent and professional trainings regarding Meeting the Needs of Children Under the Law within the CommonWealth. Julia Landau of MAC has made significant gains within the Special
Education Laws of Massachusetts. Ms. Landau and the staff at MAC are pioneers in protecting the rights of students with Social Communication Disorders. If you are interested in more
information regarding a parent or professional training, please contact MAC directly.
