Geri Thissell, M.S., CCC-SLP- Clinician

Geri is a certified Speech and Language Pathologist and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). She received her Psychology undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts and went to Northeastern University to complete her Master’s program. Geri specializes in teaching pragmatic language skills to students with diagnoses under the Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD) umbrella, as well as students that fall under the social communication disorder umbrella.

 

Her extensive experience has reached many settings: private/public schools, homes, community, and hospitals. Geri also has a strong background in applied behavior analysis and incorporates this into her treatment approach.
  
Geri currently works in the Plymouth School District as a Speech Language Pathologist servicing the comprehensive needs of children in the Autism Spectrum Disorders Program and has done so since 2004.
