Laura is a certified Moderate Special Needs teacher.  She received her Accounting undergraduate (B.S) and Masters’ degrees (M.S.A) from Boston College.   She went on to complete her Master’s program in education/special needs from Eastern Nazarene College (M. Ed.)

Laura currently works in the Whitman-Hanson Regional School District as an inclusion teacher in sixth grade.   She has extensive experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, social/emotional disabilities, specific learning disabilities, intellectual delay, and social communication disorders.   She incorporates direct social skills instruction into her teaching, while also promoting increased independence in using these essential skills.  Co-teaching and collaboration are strengths of Laura’s.
